Another benefit of selecting Diving Services Inc. for all of your underwater services is our ability to perform all aspects of underwater welding or cutting and burning. Some recent projects completed by our certified underwater welders include:

• trash rack removal and reinstallation at a Rhode Island hydro-electric power plant

• removal of abandoned cast iron sewerage pipes

• welding of new marina dock connection points during a marina rehabilitation

We also have our own in house fabrication shop.  Most fabrication is done using stainless or mild steel.

Our primary cutting is done using Broco's Underwater Ultrathermic Cutting System and oxy-acetylene for topside cutting.  The ultrathermic cutting produces a temperature in excess of 10,000° F; hot enough to quickly cut or melt through almost anything including cast iron, stainless steel, brass, other ferrous and non-ferrous metals and concrete.
