| Every vessel receives a thorough pre and post service survey with pre and post digital photos for your records. We retain all vessel information and photos which become a permanent part of your maintenance history. Most boat owners do not know what their investment looks like under the waterline. What goes on below the waterline is equally as important as how you maintain your vessel's engine. Don't take our word for it, let us show you. Resale value is always increased when diligent maintenance records are kept. Imagine how a perspective buyer will be when presented with maintenance records and photos showing the care that you have taken to maintain the integrity of the entire vessel. |
| Power Scrubbing: DSI uses patented technology developed for use by the Navy and Coast Guard made to quickly and efficiently clean any marine growth without harming the vessel. Rotating nylon bristle brushes move over the hull removing fouling and reactivating the ingredients in the bottom paint sealed in by even the thinnest coat of marine slime. Companies offering only hand scrubbing may take short cuts or leave many areas of the hull untouched, ultimately costing the yacht owner money in fuel and time in lost speed. |  |

Propeller Removal / Replacement: Using specialized underwater prop pullers DSI will remove damaged propellers and deliver them to our recommended propeller shop where you will receive a free prop scan. After the scan is completed and any necessary work has been completed we will reinstall the refurbished prop without moving or hauling the vessel. This process can usually be completed within a few days so the downtime is minimal. |
| Damage Inspection / Survey: Whether it was soft grounding or you hit some debris and it resulted in a vibration or your just worried about the condition of the hull don't let the worry take the enjoyment out of your leisure time. An experienced diver, knowledgeable in marine mechanics and structure, will assess the condition below the waterline and provide you with a written report, digital photos and let you watch real time on a closed circuit monitor and provide you with a digital video. |
| Mooring Inspection: Don't let the new season begin without having a proper mooring inspection completed. Let a certified professional evaluate the mooring for any repairs or stability issues that can occur from the changing and sometime server New England weather. Photographs will be taken (visibility permitting) and written reports issued which may be required for many marine insurance companies. Repairs to chains or shackles can be made and documented to assure piece or mind. |
| Maintenance Contracts: Sign on with DSI and your vessel goes on a revolving schedule for regular inspection / cleaning / service based on your schedule. Regular scheduled maintenance saves money by keeping ahead of costly marine build up, allows monitoring of zinc anode life and identifies potential problems before catastrophic failure. Because there is never a significant build up of growth to be removed regular maintenance charges are usually a fraction of the cost. |
